Pork and prawn oil wontons

Steamed | Pork & prawn wontons | I love serving this a s a noodle dry family feast

 

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 20ml Prawn oil

  • 20ml Soy sauces

  • 20ml Sesame oil

  • 1 bunch Spring onions green small slice| extra for serving

  • 1 kg pork mice

  • 2 carrot dice

  • 1 packet wonton skins

  • Garnish

  • 1 ice burger lettuce|shredded

  • prawn oil

  • chilli

  • 1lt chicken broth

  • 1 bunch coriander

Optional Dipper Chilli | seaweed vinegar | prawn oil

serves 4

Method

Place prawn oil, soya,sesame ,spring onion, pork mince, in a bowl & mix until combined

Place the wonton skins on a bench and fill with a tablespoon of mixture, placing a small piece of carrot in the centre

Fold them closed in your desired shape, and steam for 12 to 15 minutes.

Place wantons in a bowl with spring onions, shredded lettuce and a drizzle more prawn oil, coriander

Serve with chilli, chicken broth & coriander

Tips and Tricks

I love this served in the deconstructed version| but for comfort, boiling these are great in the broth as a soup bowl
